Our life as a radiologist starts in darkness!!!!!
Ha, in first year of PG life, we are posted in "DARK ROOM". Chotasa dibba jaisa room poora andhera with feel of chemistry lab. As soon we fallow our senior in to this room he used to say "andhera kayam rahe". This one concerned with X-ray. As the days pass on promotion ke bad promotion thus we enter "GRAY ROOM". This what we call it as "ULTRASONOGRAPHY / GRAY SCALE IMAGING". USG room too is DARK ROOM as we switch off the lights while scanning the patient. But the difference is first one is red light area (hey hey ..... what nonsense u r thinking???? ) and the latter is milky white/yellow light area (I have yellow tainted bulb in scan room).
By 2nd year we are seniors and eligible to enter "WHITE ROOM". This room has chilling AC effect with multiple white colored glow boxes. I mean to say one can report CT and MRI.
So this
DARK ROOM
GRAY ROOM
WHITE ROOM
concept of PG life of a radiologist.
